Pros and cons of Yoga STRETCH app for iPhone and iPad

Yoga STRETCH app good for

This ap would be even better if there was the option to flow left, then right through a few different poses.
Could be better if you could listen without earbuds through the iPhone speaker.
Im a yoga novice, I was looking through yoga apps for what seemed like FOREVER. When I came to this I said why not its only a buck. I LOVE IT!! The "instructor" was very thorough, and the pictures helped a lot. love the music they provide or you can add from your own playlist. just finished my first lesson, and I cant wait to get into the groove of YOGA :) I feel better already!
I just started to play around with this and I think some of the names dont really match up with the pictures they represent. Also are there more preloaded yoga sessions? Or just that one? Please more connecting, balance, and core strength poses! Be able to edit how many breaths you want to hold for each pose. Moreeeeeee!
I downloaded this app mainly for the design. After a few days of playing around with YS I would have to say although it lacks a little bit in audio it more then makes up for in usage. I made a morning and afternoon routine. I also created to playlists from my iPod that go with these routines. I have thoroughly enjoyed getting myself back into Yoga. A- overall.
U should really make or get an app for flexiblitiy. Id really something like that.

Some bad moments

For people with low vision who use VoiceOver, this app is totally inaccessible. No buttons are labeled. VoiceOver cant read the text descriptions of each posture. Yoga is great for people who are blind and low vision. Too bad tha twe cant use this app. Tried writing to the developer, but did not even get a reply. Too bad. :-(
I have been practicing yoga for few years. People , specially beginners, should be really careful using this application. There is no warm ups, no preparations, no primary moves leading to a pose , basically not doing "yoga"! Without preparations one can strech their muscles inappropriatly and can easily cause damage to joints and muscles. Not a practical program .
I like the convenience especially being able to create my own length of session but you MUST fix its crashing!
I am a yoga teacher and I bought this app mainly to help me learn some of the more difficult Sanskrit names for certain poses. So far, I have seen a few things that are inaccurate. One such example is the Virabradrasana II pose which is listed here as Danurasana. They list 3 different poses with this same name and it is not accurate at all. Also, the photo showing Virabradrasana I looks like Crescent Lunge pose to me. It is the little discrepancies that take away from this app. I have not used it to create a yoga practice, so I cant really comment on that part.
Its difficult to make out the exact body positions.........use a real person for pose demonstrations!!!
I am surprised how disappointed I am with this app. Its only $.99 but I expected a bit more. First I was surprised that there are only 35 poses. The screenshot of asanas, thats it! I start checking out the asanas and the second asana is wrong, theyre describing it as "Warrior I : Virabhadrasana I but its actually crescent moon, at least by their directions and the picture. I know this app isnt for me at this point but I move onto the third pose, described as "Warrior II : Dhanurasana" which is a contradiction in terms. Warrior II is virabhadrasana II and dhanurasana is something completely different. I can accept the limited asanas for $.99 but get the information right. I dont know what happened in the production of this app but its not even worth $.99.
